You already have an account but have forgotten your password.

Go to the front page of the web-site in question. You should see a login dialog and under it a link titled "Request new password." Click this link to go to the new user creation page. If you don't see this link, it's possible that the administrator has hidden it on the front page. If this is the case, try navigating to the registration page manually. Enter the following URL in your browser's address bar: "http://www.example.com/user/password," replacing "example.com" with the actual address of the web-site.

If you don't see a password-recovery form, the administrator has probably blocked it for this site. You will need to contact the administrator directly to get further instructions.

Otherwise, you'll see a field requesting your user name or password—enter one or the other and click "E-mail new password." This will send an e-mail to your e-mail address with a new password that can be used for entering the site. The user name is also included. Alternatively, the e-mail may contain a link allowing for a one-time automatic login into the site. You can click this link instead which will log you in and take you to your user profile page, where you can change your password to your liking.

If you see an error message after clicking "E-mail new password," you either entered the information incorrectly or do not already have an account with the site. Recheck the information you entered into the form and try again. If this still doesn't work and you're sure you have an account, you will need to contact the site administrator.
