You want to create a new user for yourself.
Go to the front page of the Drupal-drive web-site in question. You may not be logged into the site when creating a new user. If you see the link "Log out," click it to log out of the web-site.
You should now see a login dialog and under it a link titled "Create new account." Click this link to go to the new user creation page. If you don't see this link, it's possible that the administrator has hidden it on the front page. If this is the case, you may need to navigate to the registration page manually. Enter the following URL in your browser's address bar: "http://www.example.com/user/register," where you would replace "example.com" with the actual address of the Drupal web-site.
If you don't see a registration form, the administrator has probably blocked new-user registration on this site. You will need to contact the administrator directly to get further instructions.
The new-user registration form has two fields, "Username" and "E-mail address." Both are required; the e-mail address has to be valid. Fill them in and click "Create new account." If the user name is already taken you'll get an error message, asking you to enter a new choice. If you get an error message complaining that the e-mail is already in use, it may be that you already have a user-profile registered with this site. Go to the Password Recovery page to retrieve your password.
If you submitted the form without any errors, you should receive an e-mail at the account you just entered. Open the e-mail and note the password listed there. This is the password you will use to log into the website with your new account. Alternatively, there may be a one-time automatic login link in the e-mail, too. Clicking this logs you into the site and gives you the chance to set your own password.
